This site describes plumbing services work and the areas we cover, and lets you request a quote or a visit. The services described are:

Pages for individual cities and neighbourhoods explain what the service involves in that area. They are informational and do not by themselves create a booking or a contract.

Licensing and who performs the work

Requests submitted here are handled by Adams Plumbing and Repair or by a licensed local provider we work with in your area. Work is carried out only by people holding the licenses and registrations their state requires.

Licensing rules differ by state, and two of the states we serve are strict about this trade:

• Florida. Mold assessment and mold remediation are licensed activities under Chapter 468, Part XVI of the Florida Statutes. Florida also requires that the same company not both assess and remediate the same property. Where a Florida job needs a licensed assessor or remediator, the license number is provided to you before work begins.
• California. Contracting work above the statutory threshold requires a license from the Contractors State License Board (CSLB), and CSLB rules govern home-improvement contracts, deposits and cancellation rights.

If a job in your area needs a license we do not hold, we tell you and refer you to someone who does rather than carrying out the work.

Quotes, pricing and availability

Any figure shown on this site is a general guide, not a fixed price. Real pricing depends on the size of the job, access, materials and the condition of the property, and is confirmed in writing after an assessment. Availability varies by area and season, and listing a location does not guarantee we can attend it on a given date.

Calls, texts and your consent

When you give us your phone number, you agree that we may contact you about your enquiry by phone, text or email. This is how it works:

• Consent to be contacted is not a condition of buying anything.
• Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for help.
• You can ask us to stop calling at any time and we add you to our internal do-not-call list.
• Florida residents: the Florida Telephone Solicitation Act requires prior express written consent before certain automated calls or texts. We only use automated systems where you have given that consent in writing, and we honour the state and federal Do Not Call registries.

A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it directly with you by phone or email. If you need to reschedule or cancel, contact us as early as you can so the slot can be offered to someone else. Where a deposit or call-out fee applies, it is explained before the work is agreed. Where state law gives you a right to cancel a home-improvement contract within a set period — three business days in California, and similar protections elsewhere — that right applies regardless of anything in these terms, and the cancellation notice is included with your contract.

Your responsibilities

• Give accurate details about the property and the problem so the right work is quoted.
• Provide safe access to the areas that need attention on the agreed date.
• Tell us about hazards, tenants, pets or restrictions that affect how the work is carried out.
